i had to tell about my lil adventure over to this cute place! it is called the yellow deli & it may just be my new favorite place. i was driving home from the gym & i decided i was going to be a lil adventurous & look for this place in valley center that everyone keeps talking about. obviously i knew it was a deli...but not your normal kinda deli where your veggies are lathered in mayo ((yuck)) or for that matter coated in chemicals. everything here is fresh & organic & SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, good. like really, really! plus it is just a awesome place to eat.

jake & i took the long drive up the mountains to a lil place called "julian" it truly had to have been the perfect weekend! the weather was amazing. the food was superb. & all i can say is i CAN'T wait to be married to my man. dont get me wrong...dating is sooo sooo blissful but who are we kidding?!? i hate the good bye that comes every night...i just want to say goodnight & know that right when i wake up, jake is the first person i am going to see. i am sure a lot of married people out there can attest to that as well. wedding planning has gone from fun to dumb. okay- not completely true, wedding planning is fun, but stressful. i now understand why people elope. ((you are too smart people))

i know everything will come together. it will be a day i will always look back on & remember because it is the day i am marrying the man of my dreams, in the most amazing place in the world ((san diego temple)). i am sure the lil things will not be perfect, i am sure i will be going through a box of tissues just on my own, but i know without a doubt that i am going to be the happiest girl in the world. i am especially grateful to my mom & all of her hard work that she has put into all of this planning this far...
she truly has been a big blessing in my life to help put all my thoughts, wants, & desires for jake & i special day. we cant wait for all of our family & close friends to be apart of this celebration!

i laughed out loud when i saw this photo of jake & i.... it was a hard decision but based on the photos i am thinking this one just captures the excitement that we have about getting married in 1 month & 27 days! yep...that is it! it is crunch time, with the wedding just around the corner & i feel like the "to do" list is growing every day. i am so anxious for october to be here.

a moment of truth from me...i dont cry! okay, not exactly the truth but it takes a lot to make me cry....like i need to be completely overwhelmed with the spirit or someone i care about needs to be hurt, & i guess there have been rare occasions where i have cried over really dumb things. otherwise i usually dont cry & if i feel like it i try to keep the tears back. although i end up just looking like a ticked/moody girl. not lately...anything & everything has made me just want to shed a lil tear here & there. nothing ordinary about this at all...why am i so emotional?!?! jake & i were watching a engagement video & as soon as i heard some song play i was having tears run down my cheeks or when i was watching the bachlorette ((which i dont usually watch)) when she was getting proposed to i was bawling like a baby. all these happy lil moments are starting to get the best of me. i am pretty sure this is just a stage that will soon be over! I AM PRAYING.

aside from the small sheds of tears of happiness, life is grand. jake & i had such a fun weekend!!! jake's mom & siblings traveled down to california for a fun week & to go to jake's uncle, davids, wedding. it was such a blast. i enjoy every moment that i get to spend with jakes family! they are truly amazing people & i am so lucky to have them in my life. jake & i also started registering....can i just say THAT IS SOOOO FUN! i love it! it is great planning out what we want our future lil home to be decorated like & what kind of cooking stuff we want to have & all the lil things that i get sooooo excited about! ((like a vitamix blender!....knowing my current emotions, i would probably cry if we got it)) hahaha.

ALSO- my best friend finally got to meet jake! we met up at one of the besssssst places ever EXTRAORDINARY DESSERTS. ((enough said about the place)) it was so fun to see scott & morgan + morgans lil pregnant belly! she truly is the cutest lil pregnant lady. next time i see morgan she will be 8 months pregnant & i will be getting married! HOLY COW...I CANT WAIT.
