i know many of you have been asking why i have not updated the blog in a while & the truth is jake & i are ruffing it in a trailer till we move to utah at the end of the month. yes, you read that right we are full on trailer trash which makes me even happier to think that i am an OK cook even living in such terrible comfortable conditions. i actually really dont mind it at all...it is nice, i only have to clean a 9 foot area! ((hahaha.)) but the lack of blogging comes from not having the internet.  
anyway...

i cant believe the time that has passed. we are now celebrating our 1 month anniversary today...& yes it may not be much but it is OH SO FUN being married! i love cooking...never thought i would ever say those words but it is true. i must like it because i know it makes jake adore me just a lil more....maybe. then of course i love the fact that i dont ever have to say "good bye" anymore. soon i will be saying good bye to all my family & friends here & i must say it is so bittersweet. i hate that i am leaving this gorgeous place where i have been spoiled to always be in warm weather...be around my family...i start thinking about when i left for college right after high school & how my parents & my brother & i were bawling saying our good byes! i literally cried for a whole week straight & again throughout the semester. i am having visions of something similar happening as jake & i drive away in his big truck. i will be sobbing & saying "i am really going to miss my family & scooter booter!" thankfully i have a sweet husband that i know will take good care of me & comfort me when i am sad.

since i have been a slow blogger lately here is a recap from when we opened wedding presents! we had a fun lil brunch over at my parents house & opened gifts with them. we were soooooo beyond grateful for all that we got! everything meant so much to us!
