yesterday jake & i took a trip to the doctors office for my check up. i was so excited to hear the heartbeat & have the doctor tell us that it sounds really strong. knowing that my baby is healthy is always so comforting to hear. ((not that i am constantly worrying...just nice to hear)) before leaving our appointment jake asked if we could find out what we are having. our doctor informed us that our next appt will be when we have a full ultrasound to measure the baby, find out the sex, & we will get a DVD to show the rest of our family BUT our wonderful doctor told us he would take a look for us to find out what we are having!
i was sooooo beyond nervous for some reason to find out what our lil one is...when they were checking my heart rate the nurse had to keep redoing it because it was "a lil high" why was i nervous?!?! because this whole time i have been banking on a sweet baby boy & shoot we have a 50/50 chance of a boy or a girl! now was the time to really find out if our baby i have been calling a boy was actually a boy & happily i can announce that my feelings were right! we will be welcoming lil baby beckham kleiman to our family in februrary & i am so beyond thrilled to be his momma.
of course driving home from the doctors office i began to cry looking at jake & realizing all of this is really happening...we are being blessed with a lil child of god & i couldnt be more happy about being his mom!
