i cant believe it! i love how fast the time is going by but at the same time i am wanting it to slooooooow down a lil. i keep thinking only 17 more weeks & we will be a family of 3! it was such a fun weekend celebrating our year of marriage this weekend. i couldnt have wished for anything better. it was all a surprise for me...which of course makes it even more fun! the whole week i was anxiously waiting for friday night to arrive. i got extra dolled up to trying to look extra pretty...(being pregnant sometimes kicks the "pretty" factor to "not feelin it!") so it was nice to take the time to look good. when jake arrived he kept saying we needed to hurry to make it on time...on time to what?!?

we drove downtown to salt lake city & when we got to our destination it was the most beautiful hotel i had ever seen...marble floors & chandlers & gorgeous pieces of artwork were covering the walls. it was beautiful! we checked into our room & everything i saw i was just dying over...it was like a dream doll house for me, all vintage & antique! jake then said we needed to go & we headed to none other than a SPA...what a glorious day! couples massage with raspberry sparkling cider & chocolates ((which jake said were amazing)) it was the perfect night already but it was not over. we then headed to my pick for the dinner ((buca di beppo)) love the carbs!

the next day we ate breakfast at the hotels cafe. it was probably the best breakfast i have had in forever...i got a ham & broccoli omelet & our sweet waitress gave us macaroons for dessert since i am pregnant. holy cow i am glad i tried that...best freaking thing ever! our day continued with shopping & a movie...& then a nice long nap! perfect anniversary in every way.

i am so incredibly grateful for such an amazing husband...i will never know how i got so lucky! i love you so much & am looking forward to forever with you!
