LoNgEr ThAn NeEdEd PoSt...

since i havent blogged in a good while i decided today would be the best day to get on that...especially seeing as how i am thinking of new year goals for me & the family. i am now a whopping 33 1/2 weeks pregnant & i cant express how ready i am for sweet lil brighton to be welcomed into our lives!!! i have been suffering from a terrible cold & literally pee'd my pants 5 times yesterday from coughing so much- whoever said pregnancy was amazing, i give you MAJOR props because this lady right here is done. i dont think jake finds it very attractive that i cant even hold my bladder while coughing. ((men have it sooooo easy))

so being 33 weeks pregnant & counting down the days i am hoping this lil girl comes sooner rather than later! jake & i just got back on saturday from spending a full week with my family...it was wonderful. i miss them so much & wish that we didnt live so far away from them. while i was there my moms best friend threw me an amazing shower for brighton! i wanted it to be small so only invited close friends & family but i was completely overwhelmed with how much stuff brighton got! my dear friend heather bought her a mamaroo which i had heard such great things about & knew i wanted to get one...i never expected someone to buy that for us but i am incredibly grateful! THANK YOU HEATHER! we also got a beautiful bassinet for our bedroom while brighton sleeps in our room for awhile, along with a breast pump ((which i am clueless on knowing how to use)) THANK YOU ARI! my amazing parents got brighton loads of clothes, some cute decorations for her room, & our stroller that we registered for, THANK YOU MOMMA! along with everything else we got this girl is already so spoiled. having a baby can be stressful- thinking about how much everything is going to cost, if she has enough stuff, how much it is going to cost to actually have the baby....i could go on but i am sure all you moms out there understand these stresses. i am also so stressed thinking about leaving brighton to go back to work after my maternity leave is up....i would love to stay home with her but i just got a great benefit for working with this company for a year, free health insurance! once jake isnt in school it may be a better situation for me to stop working & be home with B but until then i am on the search for a nanny! if anyone in the utah area knows of anyone that is AMAZING, please let me know.

today is the start of a NEW YEAR! 2013- baby girl will be born this year & our lil family of 2 will become a family of 3. jake will be graduating this year too!! i couldnt be more excited for that- he works so hard right now doing school full time ((& some)) as well as working full time. i am grateful for all the hard work he puts into his studies & work. thank you babe!

as excited as i am about this new year- i am also a lil nervous too! being a new mom is scary, yet completely exciting. i cant wait for her to be here & see what she looks like. i am assuming she will look a lot like jake- i always see the dad in babies before i ever see the mom. plus i meet the nicest people that tell me "oh jake will make you beautiful babies!" yep- because i just carry them for 9 months. THANKS! so glad i could be of help in this lil creation.

always put my family first
read the scriptures together as a family every night
say family prayer
workout 4-5 times a week
eat healthy
love my body the way it is
take more pictures
leave work at work- remember it is just a job
